Bob Guccione, Jr., the founder of Spin and Gear magazines, has just launched a new travel website called Wonderlust (WonderlustTravel.com). Calling it “a disruptor in a stagnant travel media space”, Guccione hopes to compete with the big travel publications like Condé Nast Traveler and Time Inc.’s Travel + Leisure. The new site has a variety of features, including big-city destination guides (Paris, Copenhagen, and Cuba), food articles (“10 Places to Eat Before You Die”) and a hilarious listing of travel quotes from Price Philip.
